Hi Lars,

I’m sorry for not being able to elaborate on the ongoing fiasco more–I know it’s the more newsworthy angle to the Real ID forum change. Unlike other news sites, it’s just me carrying all the coverage for now so it may seem to be too broad and not “hot off the Twitter.”

In any case, I’ve taken your advice and added several paragraphs on the severity of the complaints.

This story is late and completely misses the point. The current story is no longer about the change, that story was yesterday’s, the current story is about the huge community wide negative reaction to the change. They failed to even mention a single issue brought up in the 1,600 pages of over 30,000 complaints to this change on the Blizzard forums. Nor did they mention the thousands of account cancellations (so many Blizzard’s servers can’t keep up with them) and the Cataclysm and Star Craft II pre-order cancellations.

No wonder I have never heard of this website. New late and only half informed. Nice journalism model.
